Fake House in Brooklyn

Posted by Geoff Knight on November 24, 2022
This Brownstone at 58 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn, New York, is a ‘fake house’.
It was originally built in 1847 as a private residence, but it’s now owned by the New York City Transit Authority, and is used as a subway ventilation shaft and emergency exit.
The interior is apparently completely gutted.
